The General Rule
For a Montréal-area wedding, we recommend booking your photo entertainment 3–6 months ahead, and earlier if your date falls in peak wedding season (June through September) or close to a holiday weekend. For Ottawa, Québec City, Toronto, or our New York/New Jersey dates, add a few extra weeks to account for travel coordination.
Why Vendors Book Up This Fast
Unlike a venue, which can hold a date exclusively, most photo booth and photography vendors can only serve one event per date. Popular Saturdays in peak season are often booked six-plus months out, especially for full-night coverage.
A Realistic Planning Timeline
- 9–12 months out — venue and date are locked; start researching photo entertainment vendors alongside your photographer and DJ
- 6–9 months out — book your photo magnet vendor, especially for peak-season Saturdays
- 2–3 months out — finalize your magnet design, colour palette, and any custom branding (names, date, monogram)
- 2–4 weeks out — confirm final headcount, timeline, and venue logistics with your vendor
What Happens If You're Booking Last-Minute
If your wedding is coming up in a few weeks and you haven't locked in photo entertainment yet, don't assume it's too late — reach out directly. We keep some flexibility in our calendar and can often accommodate last-minute Montréal-area bookings; out-of-town dates are tighter, but worth asking about.
Check AvailabilityFrequently Asked Questions
Is it too late to book a photo booth one month before our wedding?
Not necessarily for Montréal-area dates — reach out and we'll check our calendar. Out-of-town dates (Ottawa, Toronto, New York, New Jersey) are tighter on short notice.
Does booking early lock in the price?
Yes — your package price is confirmed at booking, regardless of how far in advance your event is.
